We travel by private coach from The Copacabana (Yumbo Centre) to Las Palmas, where your host shares stories about the island’s history and the city’s role as an important Atlantic port. On arrival, we explore Vegueta, the historic heart of Las Palmas, on a guided walking tour through cobbled streets, colonial architecture, and charming plazas, with tales of early inhabitants, conquest, trade, pirates, and the city’s evolution.

The tour is relaxed and informal, with time to take photos and enjoy the atmosphere. A traditional Canarian tapas lunch is included, and before lunch you’ll have free time to explore, enjoy a drink, visit nearby sights, or browse local shops, with your host on hand for tips. After lunch, the tour continues before we return by coach to Maspalomas in the late afternoon, leaving you plenty of time for the evening’s Winter Pride events.
